Good Blogs: Sissydude / Bosgars
There’s not much to say about these blogs than that they both have a good taste in men. BOSGARS is a blog by a french guy called Eric who uploads pictures of beau garcons in postings of three pictures at a time that usually somehow relate to each other. Sissydude is a very naughty tumblr that used to be a blogspot site before blogger shut it down. I’m happy I’ve found it again, it’s pretty unique in it’s trashy combinantion of porn and vintage.
Bara Manga Online: Silence Of The Bears
For some reason Blogger’s crusade against gay blogs with explicit contents especially seems to hit sites showing pornographic manga comics really hard (one of the saddest examples surely is Gabe’s Yaoi Corner I recently postet here). Especially electronic versions of the so-called bara comics, a genre my flatmate just introduced to me seem to be pretty hard to find now. Bara is often considered the “real” gay manga genre due to the fact that the comics show very masculin (mostly pretty chubby) guys, while the more popular yaoi comics are mostly created and read by women. But it is not impossible to find sites that feature full-length bara mangas. Here are a few useful links if you have a soft spot for hand-drawn chest hair. L.A. Zombie: The Trailer
It’s kind of long for a trailer, isn’t it? It feels more like a short, roughly cut version of the movie. But mabye this is just a very early version and there is still a real trailer yet to come.
Slava Mogutin: Food Chain
Since last week, a contemporary art space in New York named envoy enterprises is showing a new photo exhibit called “Food Chain” showing pictures by Slava Mogutin. The exhibition is particularly interesting because it shows mostly pictures of a experimental porn film project Mogutin had developed for Cazzo in summer 2006. The non-narrative film was never realized, as Mogutin explains in an interview he gave Bruce La Bruce: “In the middle of production, the producer had a nervous breakdown and left the company. Bruno Gmünder, a gay German publisher, took over the company. As soon as they saw the rough edit of Food Chain, they decided to kill the project because it was too kinky and unconventional for their taste. They told me they simply couldn’t sell it in most countries because of the piss and what could be perceived as forced sex. To make things worse, they stole my footage and told me that I had to reimburse the production costs in order to finish the movie on my own.” Sad story. But not surprising if you know Bruno Gmünder’s company. Who won’t make it to New York in the next few weeks gets an impression of the pictures shown at the exhibition on East Village Boys. Bruce La Bruce: Nice Mess
I’ve never really been a huge fan of Bruce La Bruce, that’s why until now I didn’t care about the fuzz that was made about his upcoming Zombie movie. But I must admit that the new website to the film is worth a click, not only because of its funny B-movie/ego-shooter-look, but also because you get to see a whole bunch of hunky porn stars and homo hop star DeadLee covered in blood and dirt, which is kind of amusing. I’m kind of excited about the movie now. Unfortunately the trailer to the film isn’t up yet and the gallery-section is rather boring, but it seems like they’re working on it. Here’s also a small trashy behind-the-scenes-film porn actor Wolf Hudson has recorded for his Youtube-channel. I love the way he pronounces François Sagats name.

Michael Magnan: Funny Fake Porn Covers
A bunch of funny fake porn covers of artist Michael Magnan are circulating through my favourite blogs at the moment. They have been designed for the Butt In Ass exhibition that is shown in NY until Friday evening. If you’ve (like me) already been searching for the whole collection of covers without any satisfying results – thanks to Johnny Murdoc I can tell you now that they are all shown in a good quality on Slava Mogutin’s blog. Fucking Seafood: Isabella Rosselini
On April 1st the second season of Isabella Rosselinis “Green Porno”-short films series produced by Sundance Channel has started. While last year she played bugs and insects to illustrate their sex lifes, this time she exlores the sex life of sea creatures. I haven’t heard about the whole thing until yesterday evening so I was glad to find out that you can watch both season one and season two completely on www.sundance.com/greenporno. I especially like the fish costumes. I’ve also found an interview with Rosselini about the series she gave recently, it’s here.
