Good Blogs: Let’s Play

Let’s Play is the kinkiest, sexiest and most entertaining tumblr I stumbled upon in weeks. I’ve spend minimum half an hour now clicking myself though all 140 pages this site currently has and still feel like I could instantly start over again. Here are a couple of my favourite pictures I found on my journey, although they don’t really represent the collection on the tumblr itself which is a little more explicit. Please let me know if you own the copyrights of one of them.

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2011 Mask Collection

The two Lucha Libre / S&M style leather masks that were part of Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy spring/summer collection for 2011 are now available to buy. They were shown the first time at the Paris Fashion Week in June and caught a lot of attention, although the fashion press didn’t really take them serious, which shows how square many of these guys actually are. You find the masks on the Givenchy website (pictures in this post via Coute Que Coute + AP Photo/Thibault Camus)

Full-Body Pleasures: Zentai

l32Fu6lykadi

I never really understood the idea of wearing full-body thights for sexual stimulation, but I still think that like a lot of other weird stuff that started in Japan and then spread around the world Zentai is a pretty entertaining phenomenon not only for the who wear the suits. A small company from Berlin called Zentai Experience is now trying to give Zentai an new image and make it more interesting to a hipper audience. On their website you learn that the history of Zentai reaches back into the seventies when children were watching Science Fiction TV shows called “Sentai” that featured completely masked super heroes. The release party of the Zentai Experience catalogue takes place tomorrow at Tape Club, they let you in for free if you wear a suit. For the one’s of you that won’t make it to Berlin tomorrow I collected some, uhm, interesting Zentai videos from YouTube and XTube. The first one is a spot by the Zentai Experience guys themselves (Picture below via XTube user ExmeraldX87),

Slava Mogutin: Food Chain

Since last week, a contemporary art space in New York named envoy enterprises is showing a new photo exhibit called “Food Chain” showing pictures by Slava Mogutin. The exhibition is particularly interesting because it shows mostly pictures of a experimental porn film project Mogutin had developed for Cazzo in summer 2006. The non-narrative film was never realized, as Mogutin explains in an interview he gave Bruce La Bruce: “In the middle of production, the producer had a nervous breakdown and left the company. Bruno Gmünder, a gay German publisher, took over the company. As soon as they saw the rough edit of Food Chain, they decided to kill the project because it was too kinky and unconventional for their taste. They told me they simply couldn’t sell it in most countries because of the piss and what could be perceived as forced sex. To make things worse, they stole my footage and told me that I had to reimburse the production costs in order to finish the movie on my own.” Sad story. But not surprising if you know Bruno Gmünder’s company. Who won’t make it to New York in the next few weeks gets an impression of the pictures shown at the exhibition on East Village Boys. You also find the complete interview there.
