Turning Trash Into… Trash: Jiz / Sienna D’Enema

John Waters would love this: Jiz is a spoof on the campy kids’ cartoon show “Jem and the Holograms” about a female glamrock band. The re-dubbed version turns the main character Jem into a violent drug addicted drag queen and everyone else into queer weirdos. The episode below in which Jiz turns out to be a huge fan of abortions may not completly have the drive of the older, shorter Jiz clips, but is still pretty funny. You find more Jiz-stuff and other rude re-dub experiments like the “Golden Shower Girls” on this YouTube channel. It’s run by a guy called Sienna D’Enema, who in this small interview he gave the online magazine Heeb turns out to be a film maker from L.A. who wants to stay anonymous but at the same time announces more of these kinds of clips.

A friend of mine just sent me the link to one of the following videos by a guy who calls himself “Wenarto” and who posted dozens of clips on his Youtube channel in which you see him and his friends singing all kinds of songs from different contexts (mostly opera). We especially like his friend IZZY who seems to be a only able to perform properly if he’s allowed to get rid of his shirt. I’m fine with that. Thanks, Eike!

The following beautiful video shows the dramaturgical climax of an educational film by Unarius, a Californian UFO sect. The group was founded by a circle of people in 1954, amongst them a woman called Ruth Norman – it’s the lady who’s playing a glamouros female space messiah character in the movie. Her followers just call her “Uriel“. I hope that’s enough information.

This blog just made my day, I have no idea why I haven’t stumbled over it before. It’s all about bad taste videos, most of them crazy film scenes and tv ads, mostly from the eighties and nineties. I have no idea where the guys who run site find their material, but they do their job really good and effective: I couldn’t find even one clip on this site so far that didn’t make me laugh out loud or raised my hackles (one nice example below). Thanks to Blair (Planet Tampon) for posting one of the videos and directing me to this special place.
