Take Me Down (VI): Sud273′s Flickr Photostream
The following pictures are shot by a guy who’s flickr-profile is called “sud273” and who’s purpose in life seems to be travelling around and photographing wrestling fights and fighters all over the world. The funny thing about his pictures: they’re good, even compared to the ones of a professional photographer like Josh McNey, who’s “wrestling project” pictures I recommended last week. Seems like this is a kind of aesthetical voyeurism everybody can live with, even the guys themselves.

Ok, I’ve got to admit it. I’m a stalker. An internet stalker to be precise. I mean it’s not that I’m going on anyones’s nerves or anything like that. There’s just this guy’s gayromeo profile I opened mabye 100 times since I first saw it and there is his MySpace page where you can see him posing with his dog or showing his Capoeira skills. I’ve always been kind of obessed with his pictures and it makes me happy that now there’s at least a possibility to share some of them without invading his personal privacy. The reason for that is that he finally became a person of public interest by being the cover boy of the current issue of Berlin’s gay magazin “Siegessäule”. So I proudly introduce Engin here and I hope that you like him, too. I just don’t get why they shaved his belly.

Productive Research: Greydon Shepard/ Ryan Pfluger
UPDATE: Seems like my research wasn’t as productive as I thought – as Johnny Murdoc points out, the rock-picture hasn’t been taken by Gaydon Sheppard, but by another photographer called Ryan Pfluger (as you can see on Pfluger’s blog) who spent some time at the beach with the couple. Sorry for that.
Because so many of you downloaded the picture of the naked tatooed guy sitting on a shale rock which I found on Johnny Murdoc’s blog and which I posted in one of the picture galleries last week I did some research: The photographer is called Greydon Shepard, he is the model’s boyfriend and he’s not only working as a photographer but also as a director of music videos, commercials and short films. You find a nice collection of his work as a photographer on his website and some of his short films and music videos on the website of his film producion company. A video he directed for the Hidden Cameras cannot be watched there so I posted it here. On the website there are also some more pictures of his boyfriend Parker Tilghman, who turns out to be a photographer himself and who’s nice series of self-portraits on East Village Boys you may remember.
Michael Magnan: Funny Fake Porn Covers
A bunch of funny fake porn covers of artist Michael Magnan are circulating through my favourite blogs at the moment. They have been designed for the Butt In Ass exhibition that is shown in NY until Friday evening. If you’ve (like me) already been searching for the whole collection of covers without any satisfying results – thanks to Johnny Murdoc I can tell you now that they are all shown in a good quality on Slava Mogutin’s blog. Exterface: Hairy Campy Trash
Exterface is the name of the photo studio project of two obviously super gay 24-year old french photographers doing shoots for magazines you’d never buy in a style that could be called high class soft porn.
