The K48 Bullet is a blog run by Scott Hug, an artist and curator from New York who is not only of the people responsible for the Straight To Hell zine, but also publishes an art magazine called K48 and is the founder of a the loose artist collective with the same name. The blog is one of these ones you can’t stop scrolling yourself through once you’ve started, it’s a pretty cool mixture of all sorts of web findings, exhibition views, pictures of fashion items and works of contemporary artists and it also features some interviews with different artists here and then. Short Cut: Josh McNey

Josh McNey is a photographer from New York who grew up in California and has spent several years in the United States Marine Corps. Most of his pictures deal with masculinity and the ways it is constructed, the best example may be his series of wrestlers I already recommended last year. On a blog which is part on his website he regularly publishes pictures of new shootings, mostly portraits like the two ones I posted below showing a guy called Christopher. Queer the Pitch is one of these very simple but pretty entertaining blogs I haven’t saved in my blog reader but I visit regularly and can’t stop clicking myself through it everytime I open it. Its content is just a really really trashy, campy mixture of pictures and videos, a lot of them sorted by funny categories such as “annoying PETA”, “japanese political incorectness” or “glamourizing smoking”. So if you’re planning to spend your Sunday evening in bed, this may be a nice opportunity to waste some time in a good way. Click here to get there.

Good Blogs Private Affairs Special: My Life At Night / SORE

On My Life at Night Johnny McGoven aka the Gay Pimp since last year frequently uploads pictures of his nightlife in New York, where he seems to have a pretty good time (see below, thanks for the link, Jonathan!). And if his collection of snapshots of a pretty undressed partying Brian Kenny doesn’t really satisfy your thirst for private snapshots of queer V.I.Ps I can also recommend SORE, a blog started by a whole collective of people and who amongst other stuff share a lot of nice pictures of their private life and the nightlife in L.A. there. Part of the group is Hunx And His Punx singer Seth Bogart who not only frequently appears in the picture collections but also from time to time postes personal stuff like his resolutions for 2010. But let’s get back to NY first:
