I’m happy to anncounce that The Ballet from New York are releasing a new album called “Bear Life” next week. It’s the follow-up to the beautiful “Mattachine!” from 2006 which is still available on Itunes and worth buying, especially if you like folky Bands like the Magnetic Fields, the Hidden Cameras or the Homophones. And cute singers. The band itself uses the pretty accurate term “sissy pop” to describe their music.
