JOGGING is a great tumblr-blog showing objects, videos and photographs by Chicago-based artist Brad Troemel and his girlfriend Lauren Christiansen. I’m impressed by the duo’s sense for what you could call the beauty of simple things, which is especially revealed in Troeml’s “performances” which you can also watch on his YouTube-account. The clips focus on very small but surprising actions and somehow seem to deal ironically with the boredom of the suburbian district he seems to live or where he grew up.
