The cute Canadian label “Arts & Craft” offers a summer sampler including 15 songs for free at the moment. You just have to give them your email address. The first song of the compilation is “Walk On”, a new song by the Hidden Cameras who are going to release their album “Origin: Orphan” this spring. A visiual impression of the bands current status you get by watching the following video, it’s a clip of a performance video called “In The NA” the band has been showing at some film festivals in the last few months.
2) I saw Diplo DJing at Melt! festival this weekend and it was really good. I posted a short clip of his gig below. Aside from recommending his Major Lazer projct I can offer you this link to a site where you can download an old DJ set he played in 2007 on BBC’s Radio One two years ago. I rocks I think, have a look at the playlist! You find the download link right beneath the tracklist – I didn’t know there’s a file format called “mp2″ but it works with Itunes. I heard that there’s also a mp3-version of the set that can be found on the internet. But I also heard that downloading it from file sharing platforms e.g. could be illegal.
